Cycling trip prep

Last summer's family holiday was driving around parts of Belgium, following the Jess's orchestra tour.  Lou made the mistake of appearing interested when I told him about the 2 cycle-camping trips I did when I was 15/16, to the extent that we actually did a short trip later in the summer last year - 4 nights, following La Meuse from Liege through Namur and down to Givet and back.

It didn't seem to be a total disaster, so we've planned a longer trip this summer, exploring the Loire Valley in France for 10 days. Since we're going for longer, we've upgraded our kit. I got a Ridgeback Voyager from Tredz bikes, and just last night I swapped Louis' rear 12x25 cogs for touring-friendly 11x32. Vaude panniers, and decathlon tent make up the basics. We've also trialled a few stand options, from home-made out of old tent-poles (see my bike photo) to re-purposing a fishing-rod support (bank-stick).
My bike, Louis' bike, and most of the stuff we will be carrying
